The Inspiration behind Shift Agrihub
After graduating from a graduate program in Agribusiness, and with a background in entrepreneurship development, Margaret found herself being approached by entrepreneurs who were exploring new business opportunities in the agricultural sector and others who were seeking information on how to improve the management of their agribusinesses. She shared her knowledge with them, and started searching for more practical information from successful entrepreneurs and industry players to add more value to the queries.
The knowledge acquired was so valuable that it inspired Margaret to explore ways of connecting budding agripreneurs with seasoned entrepreneurs and experts in agribusiness. That is how the idea of an online information resource platform was born. A resource that anyone can access anytime, anywhere to help them start or grow a successful agribusiness.
